A family of four agreed to conduct an experiment and live in this facility for three years. In 2015, the Scholten family received an offer to move into an unusual house that looks more like a greenhouse. Helly Scholten, who is a florist-designer, was very enthusiastic about this idea and persuaded the family to conduct this experiment.

The building is made mainly of glass and natural wood. Several exterior walls are decorated with vertical gardens. Inside the house, plants are planted not only on the beds, but also on the roof and between the living rooms.
