Autumn clutter checklist: 10 things that you definitely won't need anymore
Many people associate autumn with the beginning of something new and interesting, some changes in life, comfort and romance. Well, autumn is really a great time to get busy with your life. And we suggest starting with a small one – order in the house.
The summer season is over, which means you can get rid of some things. Here are at least ten of them.
Review the sunglasses that you used during the summer. Perhaps some have already worn out and need to be replaced? If you notice scratches, chips and obvious damage, throw away such glasses immediately, and do not wait for the next season.
Summer is the time for traveling, suitcases and road tolls. Perhaps you can get rid of some of the accessories that you used on the road now? Most likely, it's time to throw out a variety of disposable bags, containers, covers, sleep masks, earplugs… Conduct a thorough audit of your travel stocks, and throw away all the excess, and hide everything you need until the next trip.
Carefully inspect the beach towels. As a rule, they are used not one, but several seasons at once. During this time, they wear out, lose color, become unpleasant to the touch. Perhaps it's time to update them.
Mattresses, armbands, a swimming circle... inflatable accessories sooner or later also fall into disrepair. Summer has passed, which means that we will no longer need sunscreen. Cosmetics with a normal shelf life can be easily sent to the cabinet to stand until the next season. But if the deadline is already expiring, then the cream will definitely not become fresher and more useful by the summer! So feel free to throw it away.
Well, what would it be a general cleaning without an audit in the wardrobe? Carefully review your things (not only summer ones). There is an unspoken rule: if a thing has been lying for two years and no one has used it,then apparently it will never become necessary. Do not deceive yourself in the hope that this will come in handy sometime. And in general, it is better to always maintain order in the closet, especially since it is not so difficult.
Summer is the time for repair work, but, fortunately, this is already behind us. To meet autumn with full readiness, get rid of everything old and unnecessary, including accumulated building materials. Admit to yourself that you will definitely not need them in the near future.
When traveling, we often make impulsive purchases. As a result: an impressive accumulation of various souvenirs and trinkets that carry absolutely no value. Review these things. If they are not expensive for you and, in principle, you do not need them, feel free to get rid of them. And next time, think twice before buying something like this.
Children are growing by leaps and bounds, and this is relevant at any age. Therefore, they need to buy clothes at best every year. Review the children's clothes and get rid of everything that already looks bad or does not fit in size. If it's a pity to throw things away, just give them to charity, and you can even sell good things.
Shovels, rakes, "pasochki", leechki… All these are toys for the street and they will definitely not be useful in the house. If the toys are still in normal condition, pack them and leave them until next year. But, let's face it, after three months of active play, few toys will still remain in normal condition… You will probably want to replace them next season.
