Ryan Weideman (Ryan Weideman) is an American street photographer, who moved to new York in the 80-ies. He became famous with the project "My taxi" (My Taxi), which in the end lasted for two decades.
Almost daily sitting behind the wheel, Ryan went in search of a bright and charismatic passengers. Sometimes in his lens and got real celebrities: the poet Allen Ginsberg, impressed by the photographer, dedicated to him the verse, where it is called "taxi Germiston", and at other times in the window of a nearby taxi smiling actor Ben Gazzara.
Some works of Weideman stored in the Brooklyn Museum, and the collection has already gone through several editions.
