Art inside: paintings and sculture in the frame, which usually do not notice
Berlin based photographer Martin Cole collects images from films depicting paintings or sculptures, specially designed or modified for filming. His findings, he publishes the blog Art in Film.
Kole've been thinking about how to devote to his hobby movie any theme blog. He originally wanted to collect photoshopped images from the movie: for example, images in which the hero holds in his hands a picture with a younger version of himself, often made specifically to appear on the screen.Soon, however, the photographer moved on to paintings and sculptures, many of which were prepared as props, put in the frame for a few seconds and permanently settled in some private collection.
