It is even surprising that cafes, shops, hairdressers and other public institutions so rarely use this technique. It is clear that employees who want to see half-naked do not work everywhere, but this is a fixable thing. Here is the owner of a chain of coffee shops called Bikini Beans Espresso held a casting, introduced a uniform in the form of a bikini and is now basking in profits.
The girls working in these coffee shops (they are located in Phoenix and Tempe, Arizona) have a choice: to make coffee in their underwear or to glue their breasts with intriguing stickers. Visitors are delighted. Bikini Beans Espresso has solid "fives" on the popular Yelp restaurant search site, and thousands of subscribers on social networks.
The nerds, of course, insert their five kopecks here too. In particular, a member of the city council Mike Fagan announced that such a PR move is the exploitation of women, and proposed to introduce legislative restrictions on the appearance of employees of public institutions. Fortunately, this number did not pass.
In response to the official's claims, the following manifesto appeared on the website of Bikini Beans Espresso: "As the country's first bikini coffee shop, we promote women to expand their rights and opportunities, increase self-esteem and always feel comfortable, regardless of whether they work in a business suit or in a bikini."
Doubts about the permissibility of nudity are expressed, of course, not only by Mr. Fagan. For example, an ordinary American woman, the mother of four children Kimberly Curry, also walked on this topic in an interview with a local TV channel. "The problem is not only in the appearance of the girls," she wrote. "I also had to explain to my young children why there is such a long queue of men in the coffee shop."
But business is business, and the children themselves would soon find out that men are interested not only in coffee.
