Amazing cypress trees of Caddo lake
Caddo lake is a large lake in the USA, lying on the East side of Texas, on the border with Louisiana. It is a protected area, which grow the largest cypress forests on the planet. The lake area of about 106 square kilometers.
In the early nineteenth century on the river Red river there was congestion of river debris and logs. Beavers living on the banks of the river, have strengthened this jam their dams. Thus was formed a dam that blocked the movement of the river, and was the beginning of the creation of the lake. Now it is a protected area with unique nature.
Lakeside is a town called Uncertain, which means "Undefined". This city, located three hours away from Dallas, living solely by tourists coming to look at the fabulous cypress trees. Visiting one of the fishing bases on the shore, you can rent a Bungalow and a motor boat. A tour of the lake can also be enjoyed on the paddle steamer."
