Aliens or chemistry? Why a bright pink "portal" appeared over Australia
Residents of the Australian city of Mildura in fear began to contact the emergency service, assuming that there was a release of chemicals, a UFO arrived or a portal to another dimension opened. As it turned out, this is the work of a backlight from a marijuana farm. Usually the lamps are not visible from the outside of the room, but on this day the blackout blinds did not work.
Bright pink light lit up the sky at night over the Australian town of Mildura. It was also visible from Merbein, Cardross and Kurlong. The flickering funnel that scattered the twilight frightened the locals a lot, who had already begun to prepare for the arrival of aliens or the second coming.
Local resident Jake Moore, who lives not far from the "portal to another dimension" that appeared in the sky, put the children in the car and drove closer to him to take pictures. He posted several pictures that instantly spread across the Network.
While Internet users commented on the picturesque phenomenon, journalists found out its nature, and the expert who clarified the mysterious situation was found and calmed the population. He became the director of the company for the production of medicinal marijuana Cann Group Peter Krok. The company's products were approved for sale in the country this month.
But no, a marijuana farm does not produce harmful emissions into the atmosphere. According to Peter Kroc, it's all about special powerful pink LED lamps with long waves, which are used in the new production area.
The representative of the company added that usually the lamps are not visible from the outside of the room, but on this day the blackout blinds did not work.
For security reasons, Mr. Kroc did not disclose exactly where his farm is located in Mildura. However, such objects traditionally remain classified for obvious reasons. However, in the case of the Cann Group, it seems that pink lamps have made the task much easier for enthusiasts.
