Adrienne Balasco: between heaven and earth
Budapest-based theologian Adrienne Balaskó has only been taking photographs for two years. In a short time, she managed to develop her own recognizable style, which is called both minimalism and surrealism. But the main thing: in many pictures she manages to erase the boundaries between heaven and earth. Often, literally. Of course, she cannot do without Photoshop. But is the process important if the result is what Adrienne achieves: a surreal feeling of loneliness and the ability, in her words, to see a “special glow” where others see only boring landscapes?
