A Romanian photographer has shown how the same apartment layout looks like 10 different owners

Categories: Photo project |

Bogdan Girbovan is a Romanian photographer who explores identity issues in his works. And if Eldar Ryazanov subtly hinted at the squalid facelessness of block high-rise buildings, then Girbovan with his project seeks to show that any dwelling, even the most typical, depends only on its inhabitants.

The photographer chose an ordinary sad high-rise building in Bucharest and took pictures of residents of one-room apartments of the same layout on all ten floors.
