Bogdan Girbovan is a Romanian photographer who explores identity issues in his works. And if Eldar Ryazanov subtly hinted to us about the squalid facelessness of block high-rise buildings, then Gyrbovan with his project seeks to show that any dwelling, even the most typical, depends only on its inhabitants.
The photographer chose an ordinary sad high-rise building in Bucharest and took pictures of residents of one-room apartments of the same layout on all ten floors.
The project "10/1" shows how different it is possible to live in the same conditions and was created in 2008.
