A resident of Australia found the snake in shopping salad
A resident of Sydney, shared a frightening discovery – she found a bag of lettuce sold in the supermarket, the baby snake. Among other things, the snake was poisonous and potentially dangerous. In time, the woman reported the discovery of experts in the wild.
A resident of Sydney Leslie kun (Lesley Kuhn) shared these photos and history on Facebook. As told the woman, she asked her son to go to the supermarket Aldi and buy the products, including Roman lettuce leaves. Examining the purchase, she noted in the packaging of the salad a little snake. Terrified mother immediately contacted experts in the wild – she had never seen such.
The serpent, as it turned out, was potentially dangerous. It was a young individual of hoplocephalus – bednarova snake (Hoplocephalus bitorquatus). Deaths from the bite of this snake is not registered, but the bites can cause unpleasant symptoms, including: severe headache, pain at the site of the bite, blurred vision, severe bleeding. Experts safely pulled the baby out of the package, and took with them.
Bednarova hemotoksicheskie snake has venom which affects the blood and blood-forming organs. It grows to 90 cm in length, and feeds on frogs, reptiles and small mammals. With the serpent's people are quite shy, and may bite if you experience interference and a direct threat.
