Four researchers went down in a cage under the water to study white sharks. An American photographer managed to shoot a huge predator circling around a group of divers. The photo turned out to be impressive: the cage looks so small and fragile compared to the shark that it becomes scary for the life of the researchers.

The photos were taken by 35-year-old John Maher, a water safety specialist from San Diego. Maer, accompanied by scientists, arrived from the United States on the Mexican island of Guadalupe on a research vessel to study white sharks.
