2. The Verge notes the attention to detail in the works of the French blogger: only two episodes of the “full first season” of The Walking Dead are available due to the small capacity of the videocassette, Game of Thrones is released along with announcements of other popular films, and the rest are trying to attract HQ-quality videos.
3. The selection was first published on March 30 on Ne's personal blog. In the material, the author spoke about Stan, a 35-year-old resident of Paris, a retro lover who records modern films and series on video cassettes.
4. According to the hero, who asked for anonymity, he will not stop there: he plans to have a small video club near the Canal Saint-Martin. Stan is going to seek funds for the project using the Kicksarter crowdfunding platform.
5. On April 1, it was revealed that the cover artist had come up with the whole story from start to finish. Information about the draw appeared on "Stan's" pre-registered Tumblr blog, which Ne later confirmed in a comment to Buzzfeed.
6. “I created the covers for April 1, pretending to be a Parisian hipster named Stan, who watched modern films exclusively on a VHS player,” Julien Ne.
