Photographer Corey Zuccarelli (Kory Zuccarelli), better known by the online nickname Zuke, got cancer. Fortunately, he was able to recover from a fatal illness, but this experience changed his outlook on things forever. The realization that earthly life is far from infinite pushed Cory into the habit of not putting his ideas on hold. And he started working hard on his creative projects.

One of these ideas, embodied in reality, was the project "Understanding Man", which collected surreal shots similar to illustrations to dark fairy tales.
