A couple from Poland visited 50 countries and managed to spend only $ 8 a day at the same time
"We are young travel bloggers from Poland who didn't have a lot of money, but had a desire to see the world," this couple says about themselves. They bought a van for $600, took tents and food supplies with them and just drove off. In six years they have visited more than 50 countries and traveled over 150,000 kilometers.
Poles Karol Lewandowski and Alexandra Slyusarchuk have visited more than 50 countries on five continents in six years.
At the beginning of their journey, they bought an old 7-seater van from 1989, spending about $ 1,000 on its purchase and repair.
The guys took tents and food supplies, loaded into the car and set off. A round-the-world trip was waiting for them ahead.
Karol and Alexandra spend an average of about $ 8 per day (about 500 rubles), most of which goes to gasoline. They do not stay in hotels and do not eat in restaurants, preferring to spend the night in a car or tent, and buy food in supermarkets.
And of course, learning about their six-year journey around the world, many provide them with various services for free: they invite them to the house for the night, treat them or repair their car. Even for the expensive transportation of the van to Australia, they found a sponsor who transported their car in exchange for placing their advertising on board the van.
They admired the beauty of the Grand Canyon.
And the fascinating fields of lupines in Iceland.
We swam there in hot springs.
We looked at the incredibly green Icelandic fields.
We took selfies in the most beautiful places in the world.
Enjoyed each other's company in Venice.
We rode camels in the Sahara.
We climbed the highest mountains in Norway.
Photographed sheep in Iceland.
We had lunch with a view of the Grand Canyon.
And they celebrated Christmas in their van.
As a result, the couple got engaged in the Sahara Desert!
Their blog has become incredibly popular, the guys have published two books and are preparing a third for publication, and they also sell postcards with views made in different parts of the world.
And their journey continues…
