86-year-old triathlete nun starred in a Nike commercial
The next time you're too lazy to go out for a run or bike ride, think about Sister Madonna Buder. The 86-year-old nun is the record holder of the Ironman triathlon competition, and more recently, she is also the star of the advertising campaign of the Nike sports brand "Unlimited", which began during the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
In the video, a cheerful nun first prays, then runs, swims and rides a bicycle. Then it is shown at Ironman competitions. The voice-over tells about her and periodically addresses her.

"Sister Madonna Buder, 86 years old." This is how her voice-over represents her, while the nun receives a charge of morning cheerfulness while jogging with the first rays of the sun.
Then she swims. "Well done, Sister."
"Why don't you take a nap, Sister?"
"Well, no."
"Wait, what?!"
"This is a very bad idea."
Another triathlete who participates in the race with Sister Madonna says: "Relax! It's an Iron Nun!"
Nike also posted a video about the history of its advertising with sister Madonna Buder, where she talks about why she continues to play sports. Among other things, she utters a very important phrase: "The biggest defeat is not to try."
