8 Great Tricks for Cleaning Things You Think Will Stay Dirty Forever
For many of us, cleaning is one of our least favorite activities. But, fortunately, there are many ways to make this unpleasant process much easier. Best of all, they all require only a minimal amount of time and effort and may or may not require you to purchase any special detergents.

1. Window frames.
Sprinkle baking soda on the frame. Using a spray bottle, spray a 1 to 1 solution of vinegar and water onto the baking soda. Then thoroughly clean the frame with a brush, then with a paper towel, then with a damp cloth. The result will please you.
2. Sofa upholstery.
Mix 1 tbsp. soda, 1/3 cup vinegar, a little hot water, and 1 tbsp. washing powder. The tool works great for removing stains from the upholstery of armchairs and sofas.
3. Tiling joints.
Dirt and mold in tile joints can be easily wiped out with a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. The mixture is applied to the seams, then left for a few minutes, and washed off with water. Then simply wipe dry with a clean cloth.
4. Oven.
Restaurant owners buy household chemicals in bulk to keep stoves clean. But you don’t need such expenses, and sorting out effective cleaning products is too expensive. Pour the ammonia into a small container and place it in the switched-off oven overnight. The next day, the fat from the walls will be easily cleaned. The smell of ammonia will not last long, but it will not linger anyway, open the windows during cleaning.
5. Chrome taps.
To keep chrome surfaces from requiring cleaning for a very long time, wipe them with wax paper. Soon, you will be spending less time cleaning faucets.
6. Microwave.
Pour a glass of water into a large container. Add a couple of tablespoons of vinegar to the water. Place the container in the microwave, turn it on and wait until the water begins to evaporate. Turn off the microwave and leave it for 15 minutes, then open the door. Then take out the container and wipe the inside of the microwave with a damp sponge.
7. Silverware.
Take a large container and line the bottom of it with aluminum foil. Fill a container with hot water and add half a cup of salt and half a cup of baking soda. Soak your silver in this mixture for 30 minutes, then rinse and dry with a soft, dry cloth. All dark spots should be gone.
8. Cutting boards.
Make sure the board is dry and then rub it down with salt. After carefully wiping it with a sponge or brush, under running hot water. Repeat if necessary.
