20 incredible photos of modern Istanbul

Usually, thinking about Istanbul, are old streets, ornate mosques, bustling markets and ships on the Bosphorus. But there is this city for many unexpected modern side. Architect and photographer Jenner Torun (Yener Torun) photographed a bright new urbanism of Istanbul, ever since I moved here 18 years ago.

Minimalist, modern geometry, bright colors and unusual architectural solutions — the photographer showed a completely different side of Istanbul. Although these bright urban landscapes to find is not so easy.
