16 Women Showing Off Amazing Body Modifications

Body modifications, or body mods, include a variety of variations, from piercings and tattoos to implants and injections. Photographer Roger Kisby presents a series of images of women proudly sporting their stunning body mods.

Roger Kisby was strolling through Las Vegas earlier this summer when he stumbled upon an event hosted by the Association of Professional Piercers, a conference of artists and an exhibition of their work. Although Kisby himself has no tattoos or piercings, he couldn't resist capturing beauty in its many forms.

Kisby said he approached convention attendees and asked if he could take their photo.

Many of them turned out to be workers in the body modification industry, such as tattoo or piercing parlors.

Kisby made sure to capture attendees with a wide variety of tattoos, piercings, and other modifications to show that there was no one type of person or style at the conference.
