1. The mouth of the Havasu River in Arizona. A little further on, turquoise water mixes with the muddy flow of the Colorado River. Narrow canyons are begging for a ride, but first make sure your boat is small enough to squeeze through the narrow gaps.
2. Woodward and his team spent a whole month rafting on the Colorado River, and rafting, according to him, turned out to be quite difficult. However, there were also moments when one could enjoy the picturesque views.
3. One of the members of the team jumps on the boats in search of food and cold beer during the night's halt.
4. Winter also happens in the Grand Canyon. It represents short cold days with a lack of sun. When the sunbeam finally reaches the bottom of the canyon, you can enjoy its warmth.
5. The New York Ravine route runs along the north side of Snoqualmie Mountain in Washington State and culminates in stunning views of Mount Rainier and the surrounding countryside.
6. March in Joshua Tree National Park is the best time to shoot because of the optimal light. In addition, labyrinths of small canyons and stone corridors add to the surroundings, which you really want to explore.
7. Huge stones in California's Joshua Tree are able to awaken the child in each of us.
8. This protruding rock in Joshua Tree Woodward Park with a friend came across during a short walk in the desert. A few nimble moves and you have the best view in the area.
9. At the top of Mount Rhune in the Spanish Pyrenees, the winds are so strong that they can easily blow away a person from there.
10. A hermit woman in the middle of a large untouched swamp, of which there are many near New Orleans.
11. The organization WAVES, in which Woodward worked as a volunteer for a couple of months, is developing cultural tourism through surfing. The action takes place in the village of Lobitos in northeastern Peru.
12. An amphibious aircraft offers a beautiful view of the luscious landscapes of Minnesota with their endless lakes.
13. Independence Day Woodward and his friends decided to spend not quite traditionally - without flags, fireworks and barbecues. Instead, they went to the coast of Long Island in New York and boarded on the evening waves.
14. A surfer enjoys the waves at sunset off the coast of Montauk, New York.
15. Alaska turned out to be a great place to prepare for a trip to the mountains of New Zealand.
