The opportunity to see the Milky Way has long attracted photographers. Every year, the travel and photography blog Capture the Atlas, run by photographer Dan Zafra, pays homage to our galaxy by collecting the best photos from its community of more than 20,000 photographers. The list of works is an inspiring look at the night sky and the Milky Way as it is seen in different parts of the world.
