102-year-old grandmother was arrested so that she crossed out the item "To be arrested" from the wish list
Most people usually try in every possible way to avoid arrest for violating the law. But this does not apply to 102-year-old American Edie Sims. She always wanted to be arrested. Such an item was even on her wish list. And recently, thanks to the officers of the St. Louis Police Department (Missouri), this cute long-lived rebel finally had the opportunity to cross this item off the list.
What did Edie do wrong? Perhaps she is guilty only of being very nice. For the past few years, Edie has been creating pillows and scarves with her own hands and donating them to a local nursing home.
One of the residents of the nursing home, who is friends with a police officer, asked his friend to help Edie with fulfilling her wish to be arrested someday.
The officers agreed to play along with the centenarian. They handcuffed her hands and put her in a police car.
Eddie was taken by car to a nursing home, where she presented its residents with several pairs of knitted socks.
When asked if she liked the experience, Edie said, "Oh, yes! Handcuffs are something!"
