More than 60 years have passed since the appearance of the Guinness Book of Records, and over the years, many unusual, strange, and even creepy achievements have appeared in it. In today's selection, we present to you our version of the ten most, so to speak, extraordinary Guinness records.

1. The longest stay of a person in direct contact with ice.
In January 2009, Dutchman Wim Hof lasted 1 hour 52 minutes, and 42 seconds in the ice container.
2. Longest beard.
Hindu Bhai Sarwan Singh, who lives in Canada, has the longest beard in the world. Its length is 2.49 m.
3. Fastest 5m front-foot race.
In the city of Tustin (California, USA) lives a dog named Konjo, who set a world record by running 5 meters on its front paws in 2.39 seconds.
4. The most elastic skin.
Harry Turner from the UK can stretch his skin on his stomach by 15.8 cm. This is caused by a rare condition called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
5. The largest nose.
The owner of the largest nose in the world is a resident of Turkey, Mehmet Ozayrik. The length of its nose is 8.8 cm.
6. Longest nails.
The record-breaking 8.65-meter fingernails belong to US resident Lee Redmond, who has been growing them since 1979.
7. Most pierced woman.
Elaine Davidson from Brazil got her first piercing in 1997 and hasn't thought of stopping since. Today she has 6,725 piercings all over her body.

US resident Kim Goodman is able to bulge her eyes out of their sockets by as much as 12 millimeters.
9. The longest female legs.
The owner of the longest legs is a Russian woman living in the United States, Svetlana Pankratova. The length of her legs is 132 cm with a height of 1.95 meters.
