10 interesting facts about the movie "Mask"
On January 17 , 1962 , the future talented comedian and dramatic actor Jim was born in the Canadian city of Newmarket Kerry.
The film "The Mask" is one of the most striking roles of Jim Carrey, the debut of Cameron Diaz and revolutionary special effects. Probably, each of you watched this classic comedy, but not everyone knows the facts from our collection.
1. In the director's version, the film begins with a prologue showing the arrival of a Viking ship in the XI century in the future North America. The Vikings land on the shore, bury the chest with the mask of the god Loki and leave.
2. In the film, Loki is called the "god of evil", which he is not. Nevertheless, Loki's character is conveyed quite correctly — in Scandinavian mythology, his characteristic features are duplicity, resourcefulness, cunning and cunning.
