Kyiv charity organization "Zhiznelub", the creators of which are Tina Mikhailovskaya and Garik Korogodsky, made sure that local pensioners spent their old age with dignity. Volunteers regularly treat the elderly with delicious dinners, and recently organized a dance floor for them, where more than 700 elderly people remember their youth every day, dance and get acquainted.

Tina Mikhailovskaya, co-founder of the charity foundation, told more about how they manage to make the life of pensioners brighter.

Most elderly residents of Ukraine cannot provide themselves with a decent old age, as they are forced to pay huge utility bills with meager pensions and high prices for medicines and many other goods. Therefore, one of their few chances for a happy life is the assistance of charitable foundations and volunteers who take care of the older generation.

"Zhiznelub" is just such an organization. In 2013, its creators — Tina Mikhailovskaya and Garik Korogodsky — reconstructed the old dance floor on the territory of the Hydropark and now hundreds of pensioners regularly meet, dance and just have fun on it.

Various projects are working within the framework of the foundation. There are points of free distribution of delicious lunches, sports, entertainment and educational events are held, poor and lonely pensioners are provided with clothes, medicines and shoes, help in finding a job and make up a resume.

In addition, the charity foundation has its own 50+ modeling agency, which organizes photo and video shoots for glossy magazines, films, clips and even organizes fashion shows. Just look at what a gorgeous Instagram they have.

It is very useful for pensioners to attend various training events, so seminars, master classes and courses in foreign languages, computer literacy, yoga and so on are regularly held in the "Life Lover".

In addition, many pensioners find their true purpose in this place! One student of the SMM course for 50+ people got so carried away with this topic that she started a YouTube channel called Grandma 2.0, where she now shares moments from her life. Above you can see a frame from her video.

Visitors of "Zhiznelub" change not only their interests and hobbies, but also their fate as a whole! Many of the pensioners meet their fate in the club! For example, recently an elderly couple got married right on the dance floor — both were over 70!

I really wish there were more such organizations in the world and all pensioners lived really happily! Do you agree?
