This can be a long list. The worst movie endings are subjective, but we like to think that there are some that we can all agree with. The ending in the film is very important. When she disappoints, we don't forget. Sometimes it is too simple. Here are the worst endings in movies.
1. "Titanic" (1997).
At the end of the film, after a whirlwind romance, love, sex, dancing, Jack and Rose somehow managed to survive the sinking of the ship. And after all this, Jack dies freezing in the water. What's up, Rose? Could you free some space on this piece of wood, or find something Jack could float on?
2. "Signs" (2002).
The ending in Signs is a bit flat. The end reveals that alien aliens can be killed by water. Thus, the question arises: why did these galactic travelers invade a planet covered with 71% of water? That is in the atmosphere. It would be like inhaling acid.
3. "War of the Worlds" (2005).
At the end of this story, bacteria destroy the aliens.
4. Welcome to Zombieland (2009).
Little Rock and Wichita, who are supposed to be strong female characters, turned into lame girls in the end. When zombies rush at them, they are helpless and forced to wait for the boys to rescue them.
5. "Golden Compass" (2007).
It was disappointing to see how The Golden Compass changed the ending of the first book. Hollywood loves a happy ending, and the film shows Lyra and her friends taking a hot air balloon ride. The book is much darker as Asriel sacrifices Roger, which is a huge moment in history.
6. "The Sign" (2009).
Cage plays an MIT professor who finds a code in a time capsule that predicts when future disasters will occur. He tries but cannot prevent a worldwide solar flare catastrophe. Everything on Earth has been destroyed, but not before aliens appear out of nowhere and take people away. Where did they come from?
7. "Passengers" (2016)
People are crying out on a 120-year journey to a new planet, but Chris Pratt wakes up. He then wakes up Jennifer Lawrence because she's a hot beauty. She's angry. He destroyed her future and made her a prisoner in a spaceship for the rest of her life. But they fall in love. Later, Pratt finds a lone capsule she can use and forgets all this mess. But she doesn't. She is awake with Chris and they enjoy the same sweet life together.
