For this unusual pair travel from Hobbies turned into a way of life. They decided to radically change his environment, took all the accumulated savings and went to roam, living like cavemen. What came of it — read on.

Between them 30 years apart, and before them — the whole world. They met during the journey together and never parted. 12 years ago this couple left behind all the creature comforts and decided to live a nomadic life.

34-year-old Miriam (Miriam) from the Netherlands and the 64-year-old Peter (Peter) from New Zealand are now in southern Bulgaria, in the Rhodope mountains (mountain range). The young teenage girl began a very successful career, but he left everything for the sake of traveling around the world. In 22 years in India, she met with Peter.

Peter has a doctorate in environmental Sciences and he lectured until he decided to go on a trip of a lifetime.

The couple has no permanent residence. They travel with a backpack, in which only the most necessary things.

To survive in the wild, Peter had to learn to cook, and Miriam — to fulfill the role of breadwinner, hunting animals with a bow and arrow that radically contradicts her previous lifestyle. She had two years to learn to do it.
