A monument to the cat Kuzya has appeared at the city pet cemetery in St. Petersburg. The poor animal was tortured to death by a sadistic family from Severodvinsk, who filmed the torture of the cat on video. Artem Lavrentiev and Anna Gromovich, who mocked Kuzya, became known throughout Russia. They were even talked about in the Duma. Will the knackers be punished as they deserve?

Artem and Anna posted videos of Kuzi's torture on their VKontakte accounts. A mother with many children and her roommate beat the cat on the nose with a bottle, squeezed his head with his hands, burned with fire. It lasted a week until Kuzya the cat died. The death of the animal caused a resonance in Russia — people began to sign petitions demanding to punish sadists. The activity of the public did not go unnoticed and a criminal case was opened against Gromovich and Lavrentiev.

Most of all, everyone was outraged by the fact that Anna Gromovich, the initiator of the killing of the animal, was a mother of many children. The woman wrote romantic poems and positioned herself as a poet. The reason for Anna's act was revenge. She took it out on the animal, as she wanted to take revenge on Elena, the mother of her common-law spouse.

The relationship between the two women did not work out. Elena has repeatedly said that her son's cohabitant is not all at home and scandals in the family were commonplace. Kuzya was killed when his mistress was not at home. One day she just didn't find her cat, and her son and daughter-in-law said with one voice that he jumped out of the window.

Anna and Artem buried the dead Kuzya, but they managed to find the corpse of the animal. The examination showed that the cat died from torture and the story of the video in social networks immediately surfaced. In one of the videos, the poet Gromovich, torturing Kuzya, turned to Elena:

Kuzya the cat was at an advanced age — he was 14 years old. According to photos and videos taken with an interval of only a few days, you can see how the poor animal changed. In some pictures we see a well-groomed beautiful cat, and in others - a frightened, exhausted animal, with a hopeless look.

Anna Gromovich is a well-known person in Severodvinsk. The woman wrote poems and songs, was a member of the city literary society, kept a blog. Nothing bad was noticed about her until Anna started drinking. After Gromovich began to go on a spree, many stopped communicating with her. But with all this, no one expected that she could become a knacker. One of my friends described his emotions like this:

But Anna is the mother of not one child, but three! She has two sons, who are brought up by her ex-husband, and a daughter from Lavrentiev, with whom Gromovich tortured Kuzya. Anna is not deprived of parental rights and this may affect the verdict of the court. Lawyer Anastasia Komagina, who specializes in cases involving animal abuse, revealed some nuances to journalists:

While the investigation is underway, only Artem Lavrentiev felt the heavy hand of the law on himself. He was forbidden to communicate with his mother, who is a witness in the case, and to leave the house in the evening. In addition to bullying the animal, the man is suspected of stealing a bank card from his mother. How this resonant case will end is still unclear. In the meantime, the court decides what to do with sadists, kind people have erected a monument to Kuza the cat in St. Petersburg.

The story of the lion cub Simba, who also ended up in the hands of sadists, fortunately ended well.
