His works are distinguished by a special atmosphere, unusual shooting plans and open emotions of models.
At the same time, Oleg emphasizes that he is still looking for his own style and continues to improve. Although, personally, it seems to us that Naumov's pictures already deserve to be included in prestigious international exhibitions. We offer you to evaluate his work as well.
Two years ago, Oleg Naumov was shooting "panels" and the forest expanses of Chelyabinsk, and did not even think that such success would await him in the future. A serious boost to development occurred thanks to the local community of TFP Group. Once the guys held a competition for the title of the best photographer of the Urals, and Oleg Naumov managed to enter the top 7 finalists.
And this despite the fact that the first attempt of a novice photographer to get on the wall of the group failed miserably, which hit his self-esteem hard. But Naumov is not one of those who gives up after every miss. He continued photographing, trying new angles, new light, other locations and different cities. This brought Oleg to where he is now.
Despite the fact that the young man managed to achieve some success in his direction, he himself admits that he is categorically against the pathos and sublimity of this profession. According to Naumov, any person who takes pictures can be called a photographer. And it doesn't matter if he does it on an expensive camera or an ordinary smartphone.
In the era of a huge flow of content, the main thing is to be able to hook the audience. This is the only thing that matters, says Oleg.
He attracts the audience with the help of unusual angles and an original approach to seemingly banal shots.
Two years ago, Oleg decided to move away from shooting architecture and landscapes, and switched to working with models.
Now Oleg's clients are barely holding back tears at the sight of their photos. And this, according to him, is the best gratitude.
By the way, unlike many other photographers, Naumov speaks out against professional makeup, hairstyle and styling. According to him, in this way there is a great responsibility for the work, because it is the photographer who puts the final moment in the photo.
Naumov admits that he has not yet found a single style, despite the fact that during his work he managed to take more than 20,000 photos.
Oleg almost never plans a shooting schedule and grabs any opportunity that falls to him. Quite often he has to spontaneously travel to other cities and do more than 20 photo shoots there.
You can see the works of Oleg Naumov at the exhibition of contemporary photography in Chelyabinsk, which will be held from October 15 to 30 in the exhibition hall of the House of the Union of Artists of Russia.
