The Other Antarctica: the icy continent as you have never seen it
Flocks of penguins, placers of whale bones, majestic blocks of stone and ice — there is no place for a person in the silent world of Acacia Johnson. The corners where the girl takes pictures are so far from civilization that even an attempt to imagine the presence of people on these lands seems absurd.
"This is a completely untouched world, and it is beautiful because no one owns it," says Acacia, sitting in a boat in the middle of Antarctica during one of the expeditions.
Of course, a person's foot steps on these rocks and glaciers. Now Acacia Johnson is 25 years old. She spends most of her time in the Southern Arctic Circle, arranging tours for travelers. The girl is professionally engaged in photography, and she has already had several exhibitions with pictures taken during Antarctic expeditions.
