By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/the-flesh-project-kat-rileys-realistic-drawings-explore-the-theme-of-body-and-touch.htmlArtist Kat Riley creates amazing photorealistic drawings that explore the theme of the power of touch and the sensuality of the flesh. In each image, the body is pinched, grabbed and squeezed — and Riley masterfully conveys how the flesh reacts to these influences.
And although we are given only a piece of history (and a body), such as a waist or hips, the drawings carry warmth, intimacy and humanity. Riley's works explore pleasure—as well as the softness and hardness of human flesh. The drawings are very realistic — they can easily be confused with photos.
We have added other works by Riley to our collection — they are all accurate and beautiful. Most of them have a human body in one form or another, and it is depicted with amazing skill and amazing skill.
Kat Riley has worked with Nike, GQ and The New York Times.
