The escaped turtle was found according to a "sketch" compiled by a 9-year-old hostess

In the house of little Ella lived two 60-year-old turtles — Chalky and Spot. They stayed in the family for more than 50 years, but one day, playing in the garden, they felt like adventurers and decided to go for a walk around the world. Spot was not so fast, he was found, but Chalky ran away in an unknown direction, left alone with this cruel world.

As a result, the best friends were on opposite sides of the fence, and Ella could not accept the fact that Chalky left them.

The family searched for the turtle wherever possible, but the search was unsuccessful. Over these many years, Chalky became a real member of the family, everyone was very worried about him. But no one was more upset than 9-year-old Ella (perhaps Spock was more upset, but he didn't say so).

Ella couldn't stop looking and stop thinking about poor Chalky, and therefore she had an amazing idea — to draw a poster about the search for a pet.

Seven days passed, and there was no news about Chalky. The family has already begun to give up hope of returning the turtle, but, oddly enough, the painted posters worked!

"Missing! His name is Chalky. He has a friend who misses him. And we all miss and love him too"

It turned out that Chalky had left the house very close and was wandering along the road at the moment when he was noticed. The person who discovered the turtle was worried about her and contacted the Society for the Protection of Animals.

An employee of the society, Nicola Sullivan, arrived at the scene. She was going to take the turtle to the shelter, but on the way she noticed Ella's poster and realized that Chalka has a house.

Ella and Spot the Turtle are finally reunited with their friend Chalky. They continue to lead a happy carefree life in one of the villages of Great Britain. Such a happy ending.
