Airbrushing is a very difficult technique for painting and there are very few real virtuosos of it. That is why the American artist Dru Blair (Dru Blair) knows everyone who works professionally in this style. Simply put, Blair is the standard of excellence that everyone wants to achieve, but so far no one has been able to. The photorealism of his paintings is so incredible that even experts refuse to believe that these are not pictures.

Drew Blair became interested in airbrushing while still at university – his first works were drawings on T-shirts that he made for himself and his comrades. After receiving a Master of arts degree, the artist did not give up drawing, but, on the contrary, continued to hone it with redoubled effort.

The technique of working with an airbrush Blair mastered himself – at the university, where he studied fine art, this science was not taught. And in general, despite more than 30 years of experience, the artist still considers himself a student and constantly learns new techniques. The virtuoso of photorealism believes that everyone can master the skill, but only very few are willing to devote so much time and effort to become a truly good artist.

Drew Blair himself does not keep secrets from others and is happy to teach his art to everyone. Every year, the artist spends a couple of months on the road, organizing seminars and master classes in different countries of the world. In the United States, the artist even has his own school, where thousands of beginners and professional airbrushing masters dream to study.
