For artist John foreman (Jon Foreman) canvas serves the seaside, and material — stones thrown ashore by the waves. Of them he creates amazing compositions similar to decoration a Japanese stone gardens. They soothe, relieve anxiety and worries, and open the space for philosophical reflection.
Jon foreman discovered land art while in College and immediately fell in love with this art form. He felt that in the world of nature there is something to explore, especially where he lives in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
This region has a vast coastline, foreman therefore is, where carousing, besides all his work mainly revolves around the stones he finds on the beaches. Using everything from tiny pebbles to big rocks, the artist surprises beachgoers with mesmerizing installations that really look incredible.
