Sweet life and sweet death

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/sweet-life-and-sweet-death.htmlAustralian artist Joseph Marr creates delicious sculptures of skulls and people by heating sugar to an extremely high temperature of 186 degrees Celsius. When the sugar begins to cool, the sculptor has only a few minutes to shape the skull - or human figure.
“Sugar is beautiful and amazing to work with, it's colorful and textured, a bit like paint,” says Marr. In his works, the sculptor works with the theme of death, love, passion and struggle.
