By Vika https://pictolic.com/article/stunning-photos-taken-simultaneously-above-and-below-the-water.htmlThis amazing series of photographs is called Over / Under. Its author, the photographer Matthew Smith, is an Englishman who, due to his irresistible craving for the ocean, moved to Australia in 2007. According to the author of these unusual photographs, he had an attraction to water for as long as he can remember. Matthew's earliest memories are of scuba diving while on a family vacation on the French Mediterranean coast. It was then that for the first time, with great interest, he began to observe how light behaves unusually on the oscillating surface of the sea and in deep blue water. This childhood hobby determined his future life. Matthew has become a renowned photographer who specializes in both above and underwater photography at the same time. He has won many prestigious awards in various international photography contests, including the title of Nature Photographer of the Year 2014. Check out these amazing shots at the junction of two worlds: above and below the water.
