Red Wave: photos of Soviet rock stars by Joanna Stingray

It is always interesting to look at the idols of your youth — how quickly time flies after all! American singer, actress and music producer Joanna Stingray gave us this opportunity by publishing archive pictures of Russian rock legends in their youth on her website. Sometime in 1984, she met musicians of the Soviet rock underground, and then devoted many years to popularizing Soviet rock culture in the West.
