In 2008, accountant and aspiring photographer Lee Jeffries came to London to participate in the marathon. The day before the marathon, he decided to take a walk around the city and take some photos. Not far from Leicester Square, he saw a homeless girl lying in a sleeping bag in a pile of Chinese food boxes. She noticed that he was taking pictures of her and started yelling at him. "I had a choice: turn around and leave or cross the street and apologize. I chose the latter."
