Sky Walk Observation Deck, Austria

The Sky Walk suspension Bridge is located at an altitude of approximately 2700 meters, not far from the mountain station. It was constructed in 2005.

The observation deck of the bridge is a balcony on the sheer cliff of Hunerkogel.

The floor on this platform is partially made of glass, and it is located much higher than the observation deck at Niagara Falls in America or at Iguazu Falls in Brazil.

Observation deck at the top of the Rockefeller Center, New York, USA

The Rockefeller Center is a complex of 19 buildings covering an area of 89 thousand square meters between 48th and 51st Streets in New York.

Built by the Rockefeller family, the Center is located in the center of Manhattan. In 1987, the complex was awarded the status of a National Historic Landmark.

Iguazu Falls, Brazil and Argentina

The Iguazu River Waterfall is located on the border of the Argentine province of Misayones and the Brazilian state of Paraná.

The waterfall divides the river into upper and lower Iguazu. The river rises near the city of Curitiba, and most of it flows through Brazil, but almost all the waterfalls are located in Argentina.

Before flowing into the San Antonio River, the Iguazu forms the border between Argentina and Brazil.

Roppongi Hills Mori, Tokyo, Japan

Roppongi Hills is a 54-storey skyscraper located in the Roppongi Hills area of Tokyo. Erected in 2003, the skyscraper is named after the builder Minoru Mori and is the center of the district. It is the fifth tallest skyscraper in Tokyo — 238 meters. The building is mainly used for offices, but it also houses shops, restaurants and other tourist facilities.

On the 53rd floor there is the Mori Art Museum, and from the observation decks on the 52nd and 54th floors you can admire the view of the city. The main office of the Mori construction company is also located in this building.

Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth, England

This 170-meter tower is located in Portsmouth. This is the main project for the reconstruction of Portsmouth Harbor, for which a National Lottery grant was received. The shape of the tower was chosen from several options by the residents of the city.

The project was developed by HGPArchitecs with the help of technical consultant Scott Wilson. The tower is made in the form of a sail, so it reflects the maritime history of the city. The tower was opened on October 18, 2005.

Sky 100 is located two floors below the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, located in the same building. You can get to the site by a high-speed elevator, which will take you from the second to the hundredth floor in just a minute.

Burj Khalifa, Dubai, UAE

Burj Khalifa is a skyscraper in Dubai. It is the tallest building built by man on Earth, its height is 828.8 meters. Construction began on September 21, 2004 and was completed on October 1, 2009.

The official opening of the building took place on January 4, 2010 and marked the beginning of a new quarter called Lower Dubai with an area of 2 square kilometers near the business center of the city. Adrian Smith was the chief architect of the project, and Bill Baker was the chief design engineer.

Canton Tower, Guangzhou, China

The Canton Tower is known as the Chinese TV Tower, as well as the Astronomical or Sightseeing Tower, or as the Guangzhou Tower. The height of the tower is 600 meters.

The construction of the tower was completed in 2009, and the tower was opened on September 29, 2010 for the Asian Games - 2010. The tower proudly held the title of the tallest in the world until the Tokyo Skytree Tower appeared in 2011.

Then the tower became the tallest in China, but in 2013 it was eclipsed by the Shanghai Tower. Now it is the fifth tallest self-standing structure in the world.

Shad Tower, London, United Kingdom

The Shad Tower, also called the Shard, is an 87-storey skyscraper in London.

The construction of the skyscraper began in March 2009, the construction of the frame was completed on March 30, 2012, and the tower was opened on July 5.

All work was fully completed by November, and on February 1, 2013, the observation deck was opened.

Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai, China

The Shanghai World Financial Center is an incredibly tall skyscraper located in one of the districts of Shanghai. The skyscraper houses offices, hotels, conference halls, observation decks and a lot of different shops on the ground floor. One of the hotels located in the building is "Hyatt Shanghai Park". These are 174 rooms and several suites. The hotel occupies the 79th to 93rd floor of the building, which is higher than the Grand Hyatt Shanghai, which occupies the 53rd to 87th floor of the neighboring Jin Mao skyscraper. Park Hyatt Shanghai is the second tallest hotel in the world after the Ritz-Carlton in Hong Kong, which occupies the 102nd to 118th floor of the International Commercial Center.
