Mehmet Özyürek from Turkey is an outstanding person in the literal sense of the word, and his nose makes him so. The man has held the title of record holder for 11 years, without giving way to anyone in the Guinness Book of Records. He became world famous thanks to a huge schnobel.
71-year-old Turk Mehmet Ozyurek has the largest nose in the world. Moreover, his schnobel continues to grow. Now it has reached a length of 8.8 cm.
Mehmet got into the Guinness Book of Records 11 years ago. No one has managed to take away his title yet.
The man appeared in many TV shows. The official title of record holder was awarded to him on the air of the Italian show Lo Show dei Record in 2010.
The longest nose in history was owned by the Briton Thomas Wedders (Thomas Wedders). The length of his snorkel was 19 cm . Wedders traveled with a traveling circus, surprising the audience with an unusual appearance. Casts of his nose can be seen in Ripley museums around the world.
