Photos of Tomeo Call (Tomeu Coll) about life in the 4th largest city in the Arctic circle — Vorkuta, located in 40-hour train ride from Moscow. The town grew around the coal mines and the largest of the Gulag camps — Vorkutlag, which at the peak of its population was detained more than 70 thousand people. Until the 1980-ies continued to serve as a place of exile.
