A month ago, her grandmother died, and for no reason at all, the girl began to cut butterflies out of paper. This activity calmed her down. Last December, Maria opened her own studio in Larnaca and used paper butterflies to create a commemorative showcase in honor of her late grandmother.

"Last December I opened my own studio in my hometown of Larnaca in Cyprus."
"I had the idea to use butterflies as a decoration for a new conceptual showcase in memory of my grandmother, grandfather and father."
"It was a way to preserve their legacy."
"If it wasn't for them, I would never have achieved what I have now."
"I scanned each butterfly, printed it on good paper, cut it out by hand, decorated and painted it, and then placed it on the showcase."
"This is the result of a month of work."
"Thank you, Dad, Grandpa and Grandma, for everything. This is for you."
