By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/one-day-in-the-life-of-polar-recluse.htmlIn a stunning visual imagination the project called No Signal, photographer Brice Portolano shares remarkable stories of people who decided to run away from the urban lifestyle to reconnect with nature.
"Arctic love" (Arctic Love) — the first of the photographic essay four in this series. It tells of a girl named Tignet, who lives at 290 kilometers from the nearest town. Portolano captured her unique way of life in the wilderness where it contains 85 sled dogs and lives happily on an incredibly beautiful Finnish land.
The tignet perfectly survive away from civilization: cooks in a wood oven, the house lights with candles, and gaining water from the river in which her every morning you have to break the ice. It's her life and she admires the peace of his solitude, which she found in the quiet wild of nature.
The tignet quite happy with the way of life in which it are only animals and wildlife. She looks for inspiration in the Arctic wilderness, explaining that: "I don't need all these material things. Nature provides everything I need."
