The June issue of Vogue Arabia came out with a cover showing Saudi Arabia's Princess Haifa bint Abdullah Al Saud posing behind the wheel of a car. In an interview for the magazine, the princess spoke about the reform program "Vision of Saudi Arabia 2030", which is planned to be carried out until 2030.

After the publication of the June cover, the Vogue editorial office was criticized for not mentioning the May arrests of 11 Saudi political activists in the magazine. The detainees demanded to lift the ban on female driving and the system of guardianship over the residents of the country. At least four of them were released, but the fate of the rest remains unclear.
