One of the district courts of Moscow is now considering a lawsuit that can be called the strangest in the last few years. A citizen named Lucifer demands to recover exactly 666 rubles from the Russian Orthodox Church as compensation for moral damage. The plaintiff believes that his name has been unfairly "demonized" for many centuries and demands justice.

The unusual case of 45-year-old citizen Lucifer Vladimirovich Konchakov-Bagration, originally from Novosibirsk, is being considered in the Khamovnichesky District Court of Moscow. It is immediately worth clarifying that he was not named Lucifer by his original parents, and the surname does not belong to his ancestors. Until this summer, the man's name was very boring-Alexey Yuzhanin, but after changing his passport, everything changed.

The Siberian told reporters that he had never felt like Alexey and since childhood he was sure that he was Lucifer. So the official name change helped a childhood dream come true. Lucifer says that his family and friends reacted quite normally to the name change, which cannot be said about everyone else.

The namesake of the enemy of the human race managed to suffer from the surrounding insults in just a couple of months and blames only the Orthodox Church for this. In his opinion, the churchmen systematically worked to discredit the beautiful name, which does not carry the slightest negative. In fact, Lucifer is translated from Latin quite positively.

The plaintiff demands three things from the representatives of the church: to recognize the information disseminated about his name as false, to apologize to all Lucifera through the media and to pay symbolic compensation for moral damage in the amount of 666 rubles. Konchakov-Bagration did not choose this figure to troll the churchmen. In his opinion, she was also unfairly slandered:

Lucifer from Novosibirsk knows that his case will be delayed for a considerable period, but he does not intend to back down and will sue until his demands are satisfied.
