New York taxi drivers starred again for anti-glamour calendar

Categories: Photo project

And again, New York taxi drivers acted as anti-glamour models for the next (second in a row) issue of the 2015 calendar.

Last year we wrote about these funny guys. Actually, last year the idea of creating this calendar was invented. The author of the idea, photographer Shannon McLaughlin, says that as many as 10 new drivers have joined the calendar this year, as well as the first married duo of taxi drivers in the history of this publication. The "stars" of the previous calendar also took part in the creation of the new issue. Part of the proceeds from the sale of the calendar goes to a New York non-profit organization that helps workers and immigrants.
