Massacre with swords in the Golden Temple

The incident occurred during an official ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of Operation Blue Star to clear the Golden Temple of Sikh separatists. As a result, at least 12 people were injured. According to one version, the fight began after the representative of the Shiromani party, Akali Dal, tried to speak to those gathered in the temple, but he was prevented by one of the high-ranking clerics.
