The Thai monarch settled for the time of quarantine in Germany in a luxury hotel with a harem of 20 concubines. King Maha Vachiralongkorn, also called Rama X, is staying at the Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl in the resort town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The hotel has received special permission to remain open to receive the monarch and his entourage.

67-year-old Rama X became the king of Thailand in 2016. During the 2020 pandemic, he occupied the fourth floor of the hotel.

The Thai King is endowed with diplomatic immunity and inviolability.

Concubines in the harem of Rama X are distributed by numbers from S001 to S020. Each of them has a military rank. In addition, they were awarded the honorary title of Sirivazhirabhakdi, which means "beauty devoted to the king."

The hotel has a special "pleasure room" for a pleasant pastime with beauties.

It is not possible to book a room on the hotel's website due to the pandemic. The King and his entourage are enjoying a luxurious holiday alone.

Rama X remarried at the age of 67. The monarch did not divorce his wife, with whom he married in May last year. He restored the ancient custom according to which the kings of Siam could have a second consort wife.
