It turns out that wearing a reflective vest, you can get anywhere for free

Two ordinary Australian guys — David and Sean — decided to conduct a social experiment. They bought themselves a pair of reflective vests and cheap walkie-talkies and went on an adventure to see how far they could go in all this camouflage. The results amazed even the experimenters themselves. On the one hand, this is a fun sketch about how easy it is to get something for free, but on the other, it clearly demonstrates how frighteningly easy it really is to get through various security systems. And to be honest, given the current realities, this cannot but be alarming…

It was decided to start the experiment at the cinema. And what do you think? Friends managed to get there completely unhindered. The only bad luck was that I had to watch what was being shown at that time, that is, a "New Year's Corporate party", which surprisingly turned out to be quite something. "Although, perhaps, the mood from a successfully turned adventure influenced here," the guys admit.

It's time to raise the stakes. The next goal is the zoo. "None of us believed that we would succeed, so we stood in front of the entrance for a long time and smoked cigarettes to hide our excitement. The approach to the ticket offices felt like a landing in Normandy, no less." What was the surprise of friends when they just walked past the ticket offices. Sean even threw a duty "hello" to the employee at the entrance. "We couldn't believe how easy it turned out to be," says David. Already inside, visitors have repeatedly asked them when the zoo closes or how to get to the monkeys.

However, near the enclosure with lemurs — David's favorite animals — he was disappointed. Their exposition was closed for unknown reasons. "A family came up to me, wondering when the lemurs would be opened," David recalls. — I replied that I would certainly talk about it with the management and took out my walkie-talkie to "solve the issue"."

"There's something about uniforms that makes people naively trust," says David.

Inspired by their success at the zoo, the friends decided to take a free ride on a tourist bus. But it wasn't there - you can't fool the bus driver! Apparently, this bus turned out to have the best security system in all of Melbourne.

Already sitting in traffic on the way home, Sean suddenly remembered that a Coldplay concert was taking place that evening. "Perfect!" the experimenters thought and drove to the stadium. Here they replaced their yellow reflective vests with orange ones to look like all the other "officials".

Getting to the concert was not so easy. "Actually, Sean knew someone behind the scenes, and we decided that if things got really bad, we would just call his name. We had to try different entrances and turn 180 degrees several times, but, surprisingly, we still found ourselves inside. Then Sean sent an SMS to his friend, who considered our adventure with the vests very ridiculous and compromising, but, nevertheless, got us temporary passes."

"Before that, I wasn't a big fan of Coldplay,— David shares his impressions. "But a lot has changed on this day." Summing up his experiment, David says that this experience only proved what he had always suspected: "You'll never know until you try." And the guys give us all one piece of advice: "Go and buy yourself a reflective vest. And that's all you need to know about life."
