On January 26, in Seville, the police detained five people suspected of stealing 4 tons of oranges. According to local media reports, the police were alerted by the fact that three cars were moving very close to each other. When the guards tried to stop one of the cars, they accelerated.
After a short chase along a dirt road, the police stopped the violators and found thousands of oranges in their cars. Then there was a truck, also stuffed to the brim with oranges, totaling about four tons of fruit.

The police detained the couple, their adult son and two brothers. They claimed that they were traveling from afar and picked fruit themselves on the way, but it turned out that the cargo was heading to a neighboring city.
